FINE TUNING: The original album and single version
sounds flat of standard tuning. Maybe the backing
tracks were slowed down intentionally before adding
the vocals, or just mixed at different studios with
uncalibrated tape decks, recorded at Columbia Studios,
but possibly mixed at Atlantic's.
To match the original recording you need to de-tune 
your strings, use a cromatic tuner for reference,
lower your strings by approx. minus 45 cents below
standard pitch. Live concert versions may be more in
standard pitch to play along with, so no detuning
should be necessary then.
Don't use TV studio appearances though, they were 
usually mimed to the original studio track.
