Tabbed by: Connor O.
Tuning: Standard
Key: A Major
Major Scale Triads:
 -
ii - B min
iii - C#min
IV -
 -
vi - F#min
vii - G#dim

>Studying the Pre-Chorus.
The guitar is barely audible so everything was derived from the piano. It starts off with a descending D Major
scale beginning on D3 and ending on B2 on the word "weak". What follows over "to hear the words I say" are
arpeggiated D Maj and A Maj triads followed by a repeated B note.

>Studying the Chorus "Tryin Hell Wake Up"
Moving into the Chorus, we follow an ascending line - - - A.

>Notes
I guess in general take note of the use and effictiveness of the I7, V7 (contains a dim vii triad), and the
III in this song. I'm a novice so there are likely better explanations.

>Update
Here's a livestream link - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FeZg0VmMzpU.
Sounds like he uses D and Bm in separate occasions of "To hear the..." in the Pre-chorus. Also
he adds the 3rd-fret B string (D), an additional 7th degree, to the E7 chord.
