I believe the B chord that is meant for this song and is easiest to play in sequence is version 2 here
on ultimate guitar (the bar chord on the 7th fret). This flows with the other chord shapes and makes it
easier to play.
In the verses you are mainly strumming the E and then it is interjected with the
chord progression hitting B, F#, then back to strumming the E. The guitar strumming
and chord progression happens in time and in a pattern but the vocals are a little more loose in terms
of timing with the chords. This needs to be mentioned because the chords don't really hit perfectly on
particular words within the verse.
In the Verse 2, 4th thru 7th lines he interrupts the normal strumming to let the E ring out toward the end
of the line and it sounds really good.
Mute the last chord abruptly after playing.
