NOTE: I've made this chord chart for myself and for the folks who 
1) own a capo, 
2) are gonna sing it in a lower (or higher) key, 
3) don't want to use Phoebe's alternate tuning, but 
4) do want easy fingering patterns.

I've studied the excelent tab version that's here in UG
(https://tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/tab/phoebe-bridgers/smoke-signals-tabs-2018777),
then got the album's version into Audacity and altered the pitch half a step,
so the recording would match my guitar's tuning (Eb). I think I was able to get 
everything as right as I possibly could.

You can either play it using strumming or fingerpicking. If you chose the 
second option and also have your guitar tuned in D, you'd be able to 
generate fairly the same notes of the original recording, without much effort.
