Notes.
1. "...This is a lovely music video for Powderfinger, directed by Brisbane animator (and
Ozanimate writer) Paul Lalo. The clip heralds the band’s newly released best of
compilation Footprints. The 4 minute piece is a great example of the power of simple,
well designed story telling. Paul tells me it was completed in an astonishingly short
time period,
in a makeshift 12 man living room studio at his south Brisbane house. Hats off to the
crew who helped bring it all together, and in particular to Art Director Jenni Vigaud who
makes her animation debut." http://www.ozanimate.com/2d/powder-finger-empty-spaces/
2. As this was the only previously unreleased single to be included on this
retrospective compilation album, the lyrics are self-referential to "Powderfinger's" own
Swan Song. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bernard_Fanning
