As I watched videos of this song live during 2014, I noticed that Josh and Troy used the 
same guitars they do
for "The Fun Machine Took A Shit And Died" which is played in open G. I then watched 
their hands and relaized
that the stuff they were playing only really made sense in open G . It also makes this 
song so much easier to
play than if you played it in D or especially E.
