Tuning: Open G - D G D G B d (Capo 2nd Fret)

Worked out a nice, loose version of Videotape to play in open G with a capo on second
(to match the key) that sounds nice played on an acoustic.

The open tuning gives you lots of opportunity to play around with different notes, chord
voicings etc, this is just a sort of guideline to follow.

Main "refrain":

On the earlier 2006 live version that they toured, as well as in Thom's from the
performance, this nice sequence is played with the same rhythm as the chords and sounds lovely
worked in somewhere (I usually hold down the 5th fret down on the lowest string to get
bass note for the A chord, and then it's pretty much the same for the bass notes for
and E):

     (Amaj)

And back down again:

I also find that if you fret the same places on the high D as you do on the middle D
playing the main chords, you get that epic octave sound.

Outro (same simple rhythm):

Just play that a few times and there you go!
Like I said, it's only the framework for the song, just make use and experiment
with the open strings, and try different shapes, etc.
