Strumming pattern for Verse 1: 

Am: A ^^^
G:  G ^^^
C:  C ^^^
F:  F ^^^

This basically means you play the root note of each chord, followed by three upstrokes, playing each chord.


Strumming Pattern for Pre Chorus: 

Same as Verse 1

F:   F ^^^
G:   G ^^^
Am:  A ^^^
Am:  A ^^^


Strumming Pattern for Chorus:

Am: v^x^v^x^
G:  v^x^v^x^
C:  v^x^v^x^
F:  v^x^v^x^


This basically means for each chord in the chorus you do an upstroke followed by a downstroke
and then a string slap, followed by an upstroke, downstroke, upstroke, string slap, and finally an 
upstroke, and then switch chords and continue the same pattern.

Verse 2 Strumming Pattern:

Am: vvvvvvvv

C:  vvvvvvvv

Make sure you palmmute all of this.

This basically means you play continuous downstrokes until the chord changes, listen to the song to 
get a feel on how many downstrokes feels right for you to keep in time with Shawn's guitar.  

Pre Chorus 2 Strumming Pattern:

G: vvvvvvvv
Am: vvvvvvvv
Am: vvvvvvvv

Same pattern as Verse 2.
