I don't know why it's so hard to play this song in the correct key, esepcially since it uses
power chords.

This is how the song appears on the 1981 album "Beauty and the Beat", in A flat. If you don't want to do
power chords, transpose this tab down a step and use a capo.

There are two main tabs in this song, one during the intro and verses and one in the bridge. I'll call these

The trick is knowing when to time it, and for that you really just have to listen to the song.

This second riff is actually a bass part that plays during the bridge, but you can play it on guitar and
it sounds okay.

You pretty much just play that constantly in the bridge while Jane(?) sings the bridge. Like I said, it's
MEANT to be played on bass, but it gives you something to do during the bridge instead of just strumming
G#5 over and over.
