A simple version of the song "Wild Thing". It exploits a trick with a G6 chord.
Simply playing the open D G B E strings gives you a version the G6 chord. 
Therefore, to play the G6-A-G6 in the verses do the following:

1. Strum the open D G B E strings once
2. Fret a normal open A chord x02220 and strum once 
3. Lift your fingers and strum the open D G B E strings once

Take care not to strum the two thickest strings when strumming the G6.
