====================================================================
 SONG FACTS:
'Werewolf of London' was the title of a 1935 horror movie,
Phil Everly (of The Everly Brothers) suggested to Zevon the title
could be adapted for a song, and maybe build a dance craze around it.

Lon Chaney Jr. portrayed a werewolf in the 1941 horror movie
'The Wolf Man'. However, his father, Lon Chaney, did not play a
werewolf, and was most famous for his silent movie performances
as 'The Phantom of the Opera' and 'The hunchback of Notre Dame'.

Two London restaurants are name checked. Lee Ho Fook served Cantonese
dishes at 15-16 Gerrard Street, in West London's Chinatown area.
'Trader Vic's London branch of the global restaurant chain is situated
in the Hilton Hotel in the Mayfair district.

After a succession of other musicians were tried, Fleetwood Mac's
founder members John McVie and Mick Fleetwood guested on the track on
bass guitar and drums.
